Adam Walker has joined the Flex-R roofing business as the Area Sales Manager for the North of England and Scotland. Based in Newcastle, he brings over ten years of experience in selling roofing products, and he will report directly to Barry Shorrock, the Sales Director of the company.
Adam began his role at the start of February. He has completed an induction program and is currently busy introducing himself to his Flex-R customers in the area. He will be supporting the Flex-R Specialist Registered Installers across his region, and their merchant customers in Scotland. Additionally, Adam is eager to develop long-term specification business, leveraging his extensive experience and contacts in this market.

Flex-R was founded in 2000 and has become one of the UK’s largest suppliers of single-ply membranes. They supply a range of flat roofing systems to both Roofing Contractors and Specialist Roofing Merchants. Their range includes RubberBond FleeceBack EPDM, manufactured by Carlisle-SynTec and LQD-PUR Polyurethane Liquid waterproofing systems for contractors and ClassicBond EPDM systems for stocking merchants. They have office, warehouse and training facilities in both High Wycombe and Huddersfield and a team of area sales managers and technical staff to train and support roofing customers across the UK.
